Course Description

This course aims to empower condominium managers with the essential skills for fostering inclusivity and a sense of belonging within their communities, in accordance with the Human Rights Code. The course is recognized as one CMRAO CPE credit. Through each module, learners will be able to:

  • Module 1: Human Rights Defined

    • Explain the evolution of human rights as they pertain to Canada and more specifically, Ontario.

    • List the human rights and identify areas of improvement within current condominium management policies and procedure. 

  • Module 2: Anti-Racism and Accessibility

    • Discuss IDEA-AR, including strategies for adoption and implementation within condominium communities.

  • Module 3: Employment Acts

    • Differentiate the Employment Standards Act (ESA), the Pay Equity Act, and the Employment Equity Act.
