Course Description

This is the second course for the Emergency - RN and RPN certificate. This course was developed to meet CNA competencies and consists of the following 12 units: Unit 1: Infectious Diseases and PPE, Unit 2: Airway Emergencies, Unit 3: Breathing and Respiratory Emergencies, Unit 4: Cardiovascular Emergencies, Unit 5: Neurological Emergencies, Unit 6: Abdominal Emergencies, Unit 7: Genitourinary and Renal Emergencies, Unit 8: Metabolic and Endocrine Emergencies, Unit 9: MSK, Orthopedic and Neurovascular Emergencies, Unit 10: Integumentary Emergencies, Unit 11: Dental, EENT, Facial Emergencies and Unit 12: Toxicologic and Environmental Emergencies.
